Lucky Dates
For Weddings
7-7-7
8-8-8
For th
Those of you who married on July 2, 2007 or 7-7-7 as it
is commonly known in Numerology, when you chose the
date for your wedding, you were listening to the voices of
your souls---and there are no coincidences
That date corresponded to the 7th month, the 7th day and
the year ending in 7, so it was a very spiritual and
auspicious time. Many people do not realize that the
Universe is founded on numbers. God the Creator and
Energy Force, Father and Mother of us all is the Great
Mathematician. Some dislike math and find it difficult to
understand the precepts but nonetheless, everything is based
on Math and Geometry.
Everything in Life has a name-----all the alphabets have
a particular number to which they all can be reduced, In
actuality, there are only nine numbers and two Master
Numbers. All the double numbers, though they have a
particular meaning, can be reduced to one of the nine major
numbers, or Master Numbers, and we are guided by those
particular vibrations.
The Science of Math and the Art of Numerology are
very complex but they are intertwined very closely though
most people, even mathematicians, don't realize it.
Seven has long been known as a very spiritual number,
Pythagoras, an ancient teacher and mathematician,
considered it to be the most sacred of numbers. If a child
had this vibration prominent in his/her name he was usually
placed in the Temple to be trained as a priest or priestess.
There are seven days in the week, seven colors in the
rainbow ( symbol of God's promise to Mankind), seven
notes in the musical scale, seven major energy centers in
our bodies known as chakras, seven original planets, and
every seven years our bodies are renewed by a complete
replacement of our cells.
The World was created in 6 days, though a day with God
can mean more than 24 hours but on the 7th day God
rested. Therefore, 7 is also known as a number of rest,
completion, solitude and meditation. You chose this day,
represented by three 7's because, deep inside, you realized
that spirituality will be the basis for your new life together.
Spirituality is different from religion. Religion has dogma,
a set doctrine and rules and and beliefs. Spirituality has no
boundaries and cannot be contained. Spirituality knows that
God is everywhere and in each of us.
When the Year 2000 is added to the 7's, you get the
number 3 which is the Number of Social Activity,
Artistic Stimulation and. Creativity. as well as all things
light and beautiful and cheerfulness. Adding the time of the
wedding to these numbers would give an addiyional
vibration. So, you see, we live with many vibrations at
different times---that's why there are so many changes in
our lives.
To those that married on 7-7-7, your lives will be active
but you will at many times want to withdraw from the
world into your selves, into your home of peace and love.
You may do this separately or together but you will need
the solitude that 7 represents in order to refresh yourselves
before you return to the world around you with all its noise
and distractions. This solitude is vital for the well-being of
your marriage.
There is also an Astrological aspect to the 7-7-7. The
planet, Mercury, was in retrograde motion at that time and
one of the things that Mercury rules is communication and
all communication devices such as e-mail, computers,
phones, and when it goes retrograde and seems to travel
backwards, as happens about three times a year,
communications can get really confusing and downright
aggravating. Having your wedding under a retrograde
Mercury can mean your marriage will have communication
problems---each of you may say things you don't mean or
the other may hear something entirely different. This can
create arguments, confusion, hurt feelings, etc. Therefore,
it will be very important throughout your marriage that
each of you listen very carefully to what the other one says.
Don't take anything for granted and don't be impulsive.
Don't automatically assume that something has been
said---always check it out. Follow the Golden Rule,
treat each other with love, compassion and gentleness and
then not even a retrograde Mercury can cause lasting
problems.
No date is ever absolutely perfect for a wedding for we all
need challenges in order to grow but having Mercury or
Venus, the planet of Love, retrograde at your ceremony
really does ask for trouble. When Venus is retrograde,
feelings and emotions can get shut up inside, and repressed.
It is very difficult to show love under a retrograde Venus,
and right now, until the middle of September, Venus is
retrograde. Of course, if one is aware of the potential
problems, one can work with them but it will be very
difficult.
August 8, 2008, or 8-8-8 is considered fortunate in
Numerology because 8 is the number of material wealth
and fortune. It gives much strength and energies can be
channeled to alter any situation. 8 gives leadership and
power over the material world, good business judgement and
a marriage on this date can bring great financial success.
BUT -----there is always a But, isn't there?---8 is
also ruled by the Laws of Karma. :As you sow, so shall
you reap." You will get exactly what you deserve under an
8, according to seeds you have already sown.
And if you haven't shared with others, you may get
nothing. So if you plan to marry under an 8, you should
start planting some good seeds. You must develop
discipline and will power and a spiritual life. You must
have a sound policy so that if material reverses occur, you
will have a solid basis on which to rebuild. Sow wisely and
reap recognition under the 8, and marriages on that date
will be financially rewarding. Whatever you receive will be
the result of past efforts.
Add the full date, 2008, 8th day and 8th month and you
get 2024, which is another 8, making this date very Karmic
and one to be reckoned with. And when you turn the
Number 8 on its side you get the symbol for "Eternity, or
Infinity."
As for the Astrological aspects, the planet Saturn that
day sits on Venus the planet of Love. Saturn is also the
planet of Karma and restriction so that date will, indeed,
show the results of the seeds that Love has planted.
Saturn is also the planet of stability, and though those two
together can act much as a retrograde Venus does in having
difficulty showing affection and love, they can also result in
a long and stable marriage if you sow the right seeds now.
