Rev. Bishop Mary V. Howell
I am a 69 year old minister with over 30 years
experience in performing weddings and all types of
religious services. I was ordained at Ethelaine
Spiritualist Chapel in Kansas City, Mo after
years of intensive study under the pastor. The name
of the church was eventually changed to "Church of
The Angels" and moved to Kansas. At that time
I founded the "Temple Of Light Ministries, an
unincorporated, interfaith "Church Without
Walls," dedicated to serving those who have no
particular faith or church home but who still need
spiritual services and counseling. I am the
presiding Bishop and Leader and I am in the
process of forming an internet school at
www.Celestial-Pathways.com that will offer
classes in all aspects of spiritual studies and will, at
some point, be ordaining others to my ministry.
I have performed numerous weddings, always
taking into account the wishes of the Bridal
Couple and their personalities. I take great pride in
assisting the bride with all aspects of planning her
wedding so that it may, indeed, be the most glorious
and beautiful day of her life.
I have many customary and unusual ceremonies at
my disposal and I love creating new ones. You
may add your own selected readings and / or vows,
if you wish, and I can personalize, customize and
develop any ceremony you choose. You may add a
Unity Candle, Sand or Rose ceremony, etc.,
and/or vows for the children of the Bride and
Groom, if there are any. Unique prayers or a
religious or spiritual touch can be added as you
wish, or a civil ceremony, and I would be honored
to assist.
My education includes an Associate's Degree in
Arts with a Major in Psychology. I am a retired
nurse as well as a minister, and have served in the
Armed Forces, both Army and Air Force. I am
a mother, grandmother and great grandmother and I
am also a writer, poet, artist and designer and
creator of my own line of Angelic notecards,
wedding invitations and programs. I have designed
and created a line of beautiful MarriageCertificates
for those who want a more personalized certificate
as well as the state--issued one.
I have a special affinity for the Angels and love
bringing them to the attention of mortals. I am also
a professional Astrologer/Numerologist and can
assist the Bridal Couple with choosing a date
when planetary aspects are most favorable, if they
wish.
I am a Lyric Soprano and, when not officiating at
weddings, I often serve as soloist.
Iam also an Animal Chaplain and I can serve as
Officiant at Funeral Services and all Rites of
Passage.
